SEDCOR Event Highlights
I recently took my truck to the SEDCOR event in Independence, Oregon, and what a great experience it was. My setup included poster boards filled with photos of my work, and they really captured people’s attention—especially the kids. But what surprised me most were the in-depth conversations I had with two different 30-year-old men who were seriously curious about my truck and the stories behind it.
The best icebreaker, though, was a yard sign I set out that read: “Free Goat Pedicure.” Naturally, it got a lot of laughs and questions. I explained that I’d built a giant pile of boulders on my land for my goats to climb—turns out, it naturally trims their hooves. It’s functional, low-maintenance, and makes for a great story. The sign and the photos turned out to be the perfect way to spark conversations and share a little more about the creative side of what I do.
